For Christmas Celeste got a mini rocking horse that is just perfect for little people her size. It is Bullseye from Toy Story, and he is by far one of the top toys on her list. Well, as she has been growing steadily more confident in her horse riding skills with Bullseye, and Bullseye has been right with her rocking faster and higher than ever these days. For a while now Celeste has been getting bucked off every time Bullseye decides to rear up on his hind legs, but she whips him back into shape and he behaves for a while. Well, the other day they must have been having too much fun riding the range or something because next thing I knew they had done a face plant. Yep, another one bit the dust. Luckily, it was a slow fall and our little cowgirl jumped right back on.
Today, Celeste decided to take Bullseye for a ride up the Rocky Mountains...aka the couch...I turned around in time to see Bullseye on the couch, Celeste starting to rock hard, and rear horse legs nearly dangling off the couch with each rock. I was caught somewhere between wanting to laugh at my child's creativity for hauling her rocking horse onto the couch all on her own and rushing to save her from a not so fun bucking. This only stopped her once though, because she was up there a few more times before we had to put Bullseye the mustang in the corral.
